I need a concise set of structural calculations that prove a Aluminium metal plank spanning 2 m can safely carry a uniformly-distributed live load of 200 kg/m² when both ends are simply supported. I have the design, The outcome should let me that the plank should take the mentioned load and confirm that deflection and bending stresses stay within the limits of the relevant design code. Design 3D model, Material Grade, members size etc i will provide. Please provide: • Hand or spreadsheet calculations showing the full bending, shear and deflection checks. • A short summary of the governing utilisation ratios. • Any assumptions you make about material grade, lateral restraint or serviceability limits. If you prefer running a quick FEA check in software such as Solidworks, Altair, STAAD, SAP2000, Robot or similar, include the model file and screenshots of the results alongside your manual verification. I will sign off once the working shows the plank safely meets or exceeds the 200 kg/m² requirement and deflection remains below L/100 (or the serviceability limit in your chosen code).
