Two weeks ago had some problems with hosting, so we switched to another Linux VPS hosting company changing DNS setup.
During the last days some of our emails get:
Remote host said: 550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable
Remote host said: 554 5.7.1 <>: Relay access denied
Remote host said: 550 5.1.1 <> recipient rejected
Specific duties include:
1. Confirm dns settings are correct for our website/server; if not configure dns.
2. Debug email deliverability (may be related to rdns?) or may be related to mail server setup - mail fails too often
3. Verify and explain why some of our emails bounce sometimes (many of them sent to the same e-mail provider), or if our domain is going to be blacklisted
We will communicate via PMB AND via Skype.

I have managed my own mailservers for several years. I mainly use exim, but also have experience of other software. What mailserver do you use? I believe this is unlikely to be a DNS problem, but can easily check.
