We are seeking an experienced System Engineer (m/f/d) for a development project involving unmanned aerial vehicles. This role is for a Munich-based startup, and the candidate must be a European citizen, ideally already located in Germany/Munich. The project focuses on developing a wireless communication system to support video and data transmission in challenging environments. Key Responsibilities: • Define the system, hardware, and software architecture for the FHSS communication system. • Develop and evaluate approaches to frequency hopping, MIMO, and interference mitigation across RF and embedded subsystems. • Support the integration of Qualcomm Wi-Fi modules and STM32-based controllers with RF front ends and software-defined radio (SDR) platforms. • Collaborate with hardware and software teams on PHY/MAC design, adaptive link control, and system interfaces. • Define the RF verification strategy and participate in system integration, characterization, and validation in laboratory and field environments. • Analyze system performance, document results, and recommend improvements for subsequent development stages. Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering for wireless communication systems, including FHSS. • Strong knowledge of RF systems, embedded controllers, and hardware-software interaction. • Proven experience with system architecture, integration, verification, and performance analysis. • Familiarity with Qualcomm wireless modules, STM32 controllers or SDR platforms Additional Information: - Candidates must be willing to work onsite at our client's location in Munich.

Hi — Puru here from ErgoSphere. You're essentially building a robust FHSS communication system for UAVs, focusing on video and data transmission in challenging environments. This involves RF, hardware, and embedded software development while collaborating with a hardware team. What usually matters most here is achieving reliable frequency hopping and interference mitigation, alongside seamless integration with Qualcomm Wi-Fi modules and STM32 controllers. For this, I'd recommend a layered architecture leveraging STM32 for embedded control and Qualcomm modules for wireless communication. Utilizing FastAPI for interfacing and secure data transmission can streamline processes. RF verification strategies should be precise, employing SDR platforms for adaptive link control and ensuring robust performance metrics. I've worked on AI-enabled SaaS, ML-driven intelligence, advanced n8n workflows, full-stack web platforms, and secure API integrations. A few questions to better understand the scope: Q1 – What specific environmental challenges does the system face? Q2 – How is data typically processed post-reception? Q3 – Is there an existing testing framework for the current system? A working prototype could reasonably be targeted within 6–8 weeks, followed by a polished release in roughly 10–12 weeks depending on integration testing and field validation. Looking forward to hearing from you.

With a decade of experience as a Systems Engineer, I'm well-equipped for the integrated development approach your project demands. My in-depth knowledge of RF systems, embedded controllers, and software-hardware interactions makes me uniquely positioned to deftly handle the challenges of your FHSS communication system development project. I have prior experience with Qualcomm wireless modules, STM32 controllers, and SDR platforms, which will enable me to hit the ground running and contribute immediately. What distinguishes Aesthetic Logic from other agencies is our comprehensive understanding of diverse technical areas. This lends us the edge in not just shaping an efficient system architecture for your project, but also determining appropriate approaches to frequency hopping, MIMO, and interference mitigation - all critical aspects.

Hi, I can contribute to the system architecture and integration of the FHSS communication platform, working across RF, embedded controllers and software interfaces. I’d approach the work from the system level first, defining the interfaces between Qualcomm Wi-Fi modules, STM32 controllers, RF front ends and SDR components, then support the PHY/MAC, frequency-hopping, MIMO, interference-mitigation and adaptive-link requirements through structured verification and performance testing. I can also document test results, identify system-level issues and work with the hardware/software teams through integration and validation. Question 1: Which Qualcomm module, STM32 platform and SDR hardware are currently selected for the system, and are the existing hardware/software interfaces already documented? Question 2: Is the FHSS/PHY implementation being developed from scratch, or is there an existing RF/SDR implementation that needs to be integrated and evaluated? Regards, Houssame.
