SAP FI/CO Consultant Required

SAP Finance (FI/CO) Consultant Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance (FI/CO) Consultant with deep functional expertise across Accounting, Managerial Finance, and cross-functional process integration. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SAP Finance modules, industry best practices, and hands-on greenfield implementation experience. Location: Mumbai Experience: 7–8 Years (including minimum 3 End-to-End Greenfield Implementations) Core Responsibilities & Expertise Required 1. Strong understanding of Accounting and Managerial Finance processes, preferably in the distribution/reseller industry. 2. Experience in capturing finance business requirements and translating them into SAP Finance solution designs. 3. SAP functional knowledge across key Finance areas, including:  Accounting (FI)  Management Accounting (CO)  Tax  Profitability Analysis (COPA)  Financial & Operational Reporting  Regulatory & Accounting Standards  Consolidation 4. Understanding of organizational, process, and procedural change impacts that result from SAP Finance implementations. 5. Awareness of Industry Best Practices in Finance and SAP FI/CO. 6. Strong understanding of cross-functional processes related to:  OTC  SCE  P2P  WM Finance Process Focus Areas 1. Cross-Application Integration of Finance with OTC, P2P, SCE, Web, and partner connectivity. 2. Knowledge of Finance & Accounting Standards:  GAAP  IAS  IFRS  SOX Compliance 3. SAP Finance Functional Expertise:  New GL  Intercompany  Consolidation  Budgeting & Planning 4. Fiscal, statutory, and period-end reporting (month-end, quarter-end, year-end). 5. Master Data management, validation, and governance. 6. AP, Travel Management, Vendor Claims Management. 7. Controlling (CO):  Cost Center  Internal Orders  Profitability Analysis  Reporting  Project System (PS) 8. FSCM: Credit, Collections & Dispute Management. 9. Accounts Receivable (AR), Banking, Treasury, Tax. 10. Asset Accounting (AA). 11. Experience in data migration activities related to Finance.
