I own a portfolio of custom websites and domain names available for professionals and businesses. I also have a database of the professionals who must be contacted.
What this job requires is somebody with experience selling high end products to professionals. The pay will be a small hourly rate plus commission.
You will be required to contact professionals and sell websites to them. You will start with an inventory of sites and professionals. Keep in mind that these sites are CUSTOM made for each professional.
You will first call their office and get their fax number and existing website url, which you will add to the database. I already have their phone numbers.
Next, you will open a discussion with the professional. I will provide a template for how to proceed with the discussion, and other sales tools as needed.
The commission rate will be 20%. You will be free to negotiate the final selling price.
Keep in mind that I own over 1000 sites, and anybody who is good at this can make a living doing this. For example, not long ago I paid $2500 for my site. The typical site might sell for $1000.
Also keep in mind that the sales process might take several days to weeks to complete, depending on the individual who you are selling to.
Once you develop a systematic way that works, and we can quantify benchmark results, we will supply you with more inventory of sites.
You will also maintain a daily journal and spreadsheet of your activities.
This journal will include who you contacted, how you contacted them, the result of the communication, and your next step in the communication.
