I want to create a chart that visually represent how a client responded to a series of statements and compares the "balance" between the responses. The assessment itself (which already exists) consists of 40 statements, divided into 4 sets of ten statements each. For each statement, the respondent rates themselves on a scale from 1 to 10. What I envision is a combination of a pie chart and a bar graph. The pie chart itself would be divided into 4 major sections of different colors, and then each section would be divided further by simple lines into 10 sections to reflect each of the statements. Within the pie chart itself, there would need to be 10 concentric circles spaced evenly apart to represent the 1 to 10 rating scale. I beleive this type of chart is called a "sunburst chart". Ideally, this chart will be able to be filled in either automatically for online respondents or manually for in-person respondents (ie; people attending a workshop). For the automatic chart, perhaps an excel form that a person can fill in their rating for a corresponding statement and this automatically transfers into the chart. For the manual, a one page graphic that the respondent fills in themselves using the cooresponding statements sheet as a reference.
