AutoCAD Circular Knit Mattress Patterns

I need a skilled AutoCAD textile designer to develop a fresh library of knit patterns for circular knitting machines that will be used in mattress ticking between 150 – 180 GSM. The fabric must stay lightweight and production-friendly, so please avoid anything that looks or behaves like heavy, quilted, or premium spacer fabric. Design direction • Core styles I’m after are geometric, small floral, and wave motifs; however, I’m happy to review other subtle, mass-market textures as long as they knit cleanly on 30–38 gauge machines. • Every repeat must respect needle limitations, stitch balance, and machine take-down so production can move from file to loom without manual rework. Technical expectations You should already understand knit structure, course/repeat settings, and how yarn counts influence GSM. Each pattern you submit must come as an editable AutoCAD (.dwg) file with the repeat clearly marked, plus any quick notes on stitch count, machine gauge, and recommended yarn blend if that affects feel or weight. Deliverables (per approved pattern) - AutoCAD DWG file with clean, layered artwork - Repeat dimensions and needle/course mapping noted inside the file - One PNG or PDF visual for quick reference Experience designing mattress or circular-knit fabric is strongly preferred; if you have previous tickings in your portfolio, please mention them so I can gauge style alignment. I’m looking to start with a small batch of designs but will commission ongoing work once the first round proves machine-ready and commercially appealing.
