A high quality looking housing / enclosure required for a small Hi-Fi amplifier with integrated Bluetooth. As Bluetooth does not operate through metals the housing must be made of a suitable high quality material such as wood / Perspex / plastic or a combination of different materials. The design must be simple to assemble and require NO tooling. Forming, bending, machining, inserts etc. are acceptable however the design must not be moulded from a tool.
Approx size of PCB that fits inside the housing is 120mm X 60mm X 28mm high so the internal size of enclosure must be large enough to fit the PCB inside.
The PCB has an on board power LED and another LED that illuminates when Bluetooth is operational. Some method window etc. is desirable to view the LED(s).
On rear of the product there are 4 X chassis mounted speaker terminals, a small control knob and a DC socket for the power supply.
There should be an area for a logo.
The base of the product should be made to be stable and not scratch surfaces.
The housing / enclosure must look good and have a look of quality
On competition basic drawings / STEP files are required so a prototype can be made. Note : the connections on the rear are chassis mount so a series of holes will be required to mount speaker terminals etc..
