3D Studio Max / Export to IGS File

HI, I had another designer on Rentacoder create a 3D Model for me and export it to an IGS file. However, my manufacturer is trying to use the file in there CNC Machine to create a mold and the file is not working for them. My manufacturer has said that they always use a IGS file, so for some reason, there is some in compatibilities. I think that my manufacturer is using CAM2000 to open the file. If anybody has some experiance with 3D Studio Max or has experiance this problem before, please help. We have 3 different files that need to be exported. Maybe it's just an incompatability with versions or something....but I'm not really sure...
