I need a generic mountain terrain in 3DS. This will include modeling the terrain as well as providing the textures needed.
The terrain should be based on a simple plain which is distorted and applied with textures that match the general height level

I need a game level that consists of a central plane surrounded by mountains so that the player character can not leave the defined area.
To do this we start with a plane of reasonably high resolution (will be reduced with multires modifier later). The outer edges of the terrain should be raised on the shape of mountains. The mountains should be of a steep angle at their feet, about 50 degrees or steeper. The terrain can be cut in rectangular or quadratic sections in order to make texturing it more flexible. Textures must be provided by the artist, possibly combined into individual textures for the sections if, for example, a transition from grass to rock to ice is to be shown.
The central plane of the scene should be flat, yet still contain the original number of triangles so that it can be shaped into smooth hills later depending on the specific requirements for the scene.
The mountains should have some modeled cave entrances on all sides which will later be used to allow game character to move from one zone to the next.
The textures must be of sufficient quality since the camera will be close in the terrain. The scene will be used at a zoom level that makes it appear to be 400*400 meters or larger, therefore tiling of textures is mandatory and texturing the terrain sections in a sophisticated way is very important.
