This is a very easy writing assignment, so I'm looking for bids accordingly.
I am just looking for someone to create a Microsoft Word document, describing how to "register" your own "website" from a webhost (so this job does require some experience, I need someone who has done this before), and then "how" to create your very first website page. Basically, it will involve going to a webhost (that I pick), signing up for an account (i.e., [url removed, login to view]), and getting a package, and then creating a webpage on that website. (I.e., one that says "Hi there!"), then accessing it from a browser. (I.e., [url removed, login to view]).
Anyways, it should be:
a) Step-by step. So I could follow the instructions *exactly* as you write it, and then have my very own live website (should be 'shared hosting').
b) You will need to include screenshots for the different steps. I.e., when you go to the main page, when you enter information, etc, etc.
c) In your bid request, please show me a sample domain you have created, and/or explain what 'shared hosting' is (so I know that you know what you are talking about :))
And that's it! I think it would probably only take 1-2 hours, if even that. I am looking for someone who also writes well (i.e., English as a first language, etc).
When bidding, please make a reasonable bid, as well as indicate that you know how to make a 'screenshot' (i.e., using paint shop pro, etc), as well if you have a small writing sample (say 100 words), include that too. Turnaround time is 1 day. And I expect the bid would probably be $10-$15. I will also include the required fees for registering the domain name, and first month`s hosting. (Which will probably be about $20, because you will need to register it. Of course though you can 'blank' out the fields when making the screenshot). You can choose to keep the domain if you wish, or do something else with it, although (initially) I will need the password information to check & make sure you haven't missed any steps (i.e., logging into the domain editing panel/etc). Afterwards, you can change the password/do whatever you wish with it. (So I expect the total bid will be about $35).
