Project Title German to Chinese Game Translator (Long-term Cooperation Preferred) Project Description We are looking for an experienced German → Chinese (Simplified) translator for game localization projects. Project Type Language pair: German → Chinese (Simplified) Industry: Gaming / Interactive Entertainment Content: In-game dialogue, UI, system messages, character descriptions, event text, marketing materials Volume: Ongoing projects (first batch may start with a test task) Requirements Native Chinese speaker Strong German reading comprehension (C1 level or above preferred) Proven experience in game localization Familiar with gaming terminology and player tone Able to maintain consistency in terminology Experience with CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ, Smartcat) is a plus Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Previously worked on RPG / mobile games / narrative-heavy games Understanding of gaming culture in Chinese-speaking markets Experience working with translation glossaries and style guides Payment Please include in your proposal: Your rate (per word) Your daily capacity Relevant portfolio samples (if available) CAT tools you use We are looking for long-term collaboration if quality and communication are good.
