Hello! We’re looking to hire multiple French translators for a large project of ca 20.000 pages. The content must be translated from French to English (FR>EN) so we prefer to work with native English translators that have outstanding French language skills. The topics relate to airplane maintenance but are not necessarily technical. You will receive support material, access to a translation software, a terms data base for consistency across all translator/translated content, and more. This project will start in 1-2 weeks from now but up to that point we do require a few smaller translations that will serve perfectly as tests. We’re looking to pay $0.015-$0.02/word including freelancer.com fee considering that this is a bulk project you can work on for months. The work will be delivered in MS Word and Excel sheets. One should be able to translate at least 10.000 words per week but preferably 20.000 or even up to 30.000, as long as quality stays high and there’s consistency in terms used etc. The project will last 4 months and if you deliver quality work you can work on this project throughout that period. When bidding on this project please let me know when you can begin (again, we expect to proceed in 1-2 weeks), how many words you can translate per week, your experience as a translator FR>EN, and of course your best rate/word for this bulk project. Please bid with an amount of $30. We can add milestones as we go. We’ll be looking forward to receiving your proposals.
