I need a complete 2D platformer built in Unity that spans 10 distinct levels. The core loop is combat-focused, and the hero’s sole weapon is a flamethrower, so enemies, level hazards, and power-ups should all revolve around that fiery mechanic. Visual direction is crisp pixel art: think vibrant palettes, clear silhouettes, and fluid but deliberately limited frame counts that evoke classic 16-bit games. I’ll supply a mood-board once we start; all sprites, tiles, and simple VFX need to follow the same style. What I’m looking for: • 10 fully playable levels, each roughly 2–3 minutes long on a first playthrough. • Tight, responsive movement (run, jump, wall-slide, double-jump) and flamethrower combat with sensible fuel management and hit feedback. • Basic AI for ground and aerial enemies (patrol, chase, retreat when burning). • Checkpoint and simple save/continue system. • Start menu, pause menu, and level-select screen. • Delivery of the full Unity project (latest LTS version) and a standalone build for Windows. • Brief developer notes explaining scene structure, input settings, and how to add more levels. All code must be neatly organized and commented so I can hand it to another Unity dev later if needed. Feel free to use free/open-source assets or plugins as long as their licenses allow commercial use and are documented in the notes.
