The main goal is to open the scene, press Play on device, and immediately be able to walk around my room using the left stick while the headset shows the real-world passthrough. Here is what I expect to receive: • A clean UE5.3 (or later) project configured for Quest that compiles and deploys via Oculus/Meta XR plugin. • Blueprint or C++ implementation of smooth locomotion bound to the default Quest controller thumbstick, including optional snap-turn. • Passthrough enabled with proper permissions and a simple translucent background material so real-world surroundings are visible. • A starter indoor level (e.g., a floor mesh or basic room geometry) to verify movement works. • Step-by-step notes on project settings, Android manifest edits, and input mappings so I can replicate the setup in future projects. No teleport, dash, or outdoor scenes are required—just smooth stick movement inside passthrough. If everything runs at normal Quest performance on first build, I’ll consider the job complete.
