I have developed various Excel workbooks to that carry out calculations. The workbooks contain macros in the form of VBA code. I want to know if it is possible for me to post my Excel workbooks on my web page <[url removed, login to view]> in such a way that people can use the programs via my web page, but not download the VBA-containing program itself. The web page is obsolete, and needs updating.
For example, I want people to be able to use the program [url removed, login to view] to generate various worksheets, and allow the worksheets to be downloaded, but not the program Freed.xlsm. If you think you can do this, please submit a bid for doing it. The project will include four Excel-based programs, all of which are similar to Freed.xlsm. If you believe that it is not possible to do this, please suggest another way for people to test the programs on-line while not allowing a download of the Excel program itself. Or, if a person tries to download the Excel program, it will arrive corrupted in some way, and be impossible to repair.
In your bid reply, please outline generally how you would accomplish this, and any drawbacks in doing it. Do not submit partial or complete programs as part of your bid. All bid replies that do not contain a discussion of your approach to the project will be disregarded. Do not rush to bid because I won't choose a bidder for 5 days.
