Qt does not natively support tear-off menu functionality. A tear-off menu operates like a regular menu, but the user is allowed to click on a dashed line at the top of the menu and that menu opens into its own window, which can be kept open and moved around the screen (for example, see section 188.8.131.52 of [url removed, login to view]).
I am looking for a tear-off menu implementation programmed in Qt with C++, along with detailed instructions on how to integrate this solution into an existing Qt program. If this is absolutely not possible, I will accept proposals which approximate the functionality of a tear-off menu, but the solution must work in Qt.
