Our web application supports Testers and Development teams to manage their software testing requirements. The application promotes close collaboration, auditing, and reporting across teams. Thus, providing the visibility to understand the quality of testing deliverables as you prepare to launch software releases. The interface should be design in a way that allows our users to focus on what is most important. The size, color, and placement of each element must work together, creating a clear path to understanding. Why a new design is needed? Current application is developed in PHP, a complete app with one site connecting database, web and no API reference. The new design should be efficient to only load the data it requires it. This feature is very important, it makes the new design totally different from the previous version. Besides this technology reason, human centred design is already commonly used in web design, so the user is always the first-driven factor to be considered in the design process. This human centred design should cover but not limited to the information architecture, workflows, layouts, colour, icons, interactive design. A stunning and reasonable web app is the anticipated outcome of this design.   Design principle 1. Must be cross browser responsive for desktops, tablets and mobile devices 2. The design should be compatible with React JS. 3. The design style should be Minimalism and modern and concise with high aesthetic effect. 4. The colour system should be bright and can reflect the tech sense and human centered design. 5. The design should be well balanced between design and development, and is user friendly Design Scope To separate the current web front end from the existing web application framework. The new front end will be developed using React which will integrate with the current backend utilizing REST API framework. We require five essential parts from the design team to support the following development of the new React Front-End: 1. Design specification. A series of documents contains the definition of them, font style, color (Based on Material-UI). A set of constraints, requirements, and considerations for a product. We require the definition of theme, font style, color and so on. These are all basic styling solutions we will implement in our project that make the style consistent. We recommend the design team consider Material Design ([login to view URL]) as the reference plan since we have selected the Material-UI ([login to view URL]) as our main framework. 2. Prototypes, like wireframes, functional mockups which displays the layout of pages and process of features. Design team could use some prototypes designing tools like Mockplus ([login to view URL]) to create some prototypes that could display layout and illustrate the process of specific feature. 3. Feature list, the document of all atom features and their descriptions, relationships and dependency. A list of all features defines the functional structure of the product and can also help clarify the overall idea of the product. It can also help the development team to improve the component structure design. 4. Design annotation, which defines and describes property of UI element like its margin, padding in box model. In prototypes provided by Design team, we hope it contains annotation about details of each UI item in prototype. That will help development team to write the CSS files in project. 5. Resources, like images, icons. Some special resources will be used in development like images, logo or icon. Full details of the specification will be provided to freelancers that demonstrate capability and capacity to support.
