Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and educational video content for a variety of projects, including surgical procedures and other medical-related topics.
Responsibilities:
Edit raw video footage into a polished and cohesive final product
Work closely with the production team to ensure the video meets the project goals and specifications
Use clear transitions and annotations to explain key moments and procedures
Ensure that sound quality is good and that any dialogue or commentary is clear and audible
Review and revise edited videos to ensure that they effectively communicate the information
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and technologies as appropriate
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing
Strong knowledge of editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
Good communication and collaboration skills
A portfolio of video editing work demonstrating your skills and creativity
A strong understanding of video storytelling and the ability to create engaging and educational content
