Hello!
As you can imagine I am very interested in this project.
First of all, because I am actually going to record birds in April, and edit my recording around Tarapoto, in Amazonas in Peru. I love nature, and the sound that it has to offer.
I came back from Brazil in December, where I had lived the last 3 years. Right now, I am in Barcelona, where I have available one of Audioprojects's studios, company I worked with few years ago, that I can use to work every day.
The studio is equiped with a 5.1 Genelec 1031A, Procontrol Digidesign and Protools 8. I can work fast, but I consider that I am very detailed and meticulous in my work, and love to challenge myself.
I do have a big experience in organizing and naming files audio files, I was in charge of organizing and send each audio file of Hotel Transylvania's brazilian dubbing, to Sony Pictures Animation.
I will say I have hours and hours of "cleaning" noises, and BG sounds, and editing audio files, for voices overs specially, but I will be very interested to learn how to detect, and edit "vocalizations" in the best way possible.
I heard the files of before and after, and understood the concept. Distinguish the 3 Acorn Woodpecker's bird songs, and separate them cleanly. But is it me, or the after files sound a bit pitched up?
I am new on this site as you can see but I will be very honoured if you can consider me for this position. iBird sounds great.
Thanks for reading, and hope we can talk soon.
Regards,
S.Héléna
