We're a project management agency based in Boston, MA and we're looking for a virtual assistant who will help with some daily tasks we have and reduce our workload. The gig is of ongoing nature (on demand, but with plenty of work weekly) so you can expect to earn quite a lot over long term. The only real requirement is that you have to have Native level (or close) English language skills. Anything else can be learned. Please bid your minimum acceptable hourly rate as this is a long term project and we're looking for someone to work with us as a member of our team, for an indefinite time. You will also have a chance to advance depending on your dedication and skills. Thank you and good luck! P.S. All bids that do not have the code: "ATTENTION" somewhere in their bid/summary will be ignored. We don't like automated bids and we will hire someone who pays attention to detail. In addition, please bid the exact lowest hourly rate you can accept as we will have to disregard all freelancers who increase their hourly rate during or after the interview process.

Hello! I've looked over your requirements, and I'm interested in taking on the job, if possible. I was once an intern in a newspaper for several months and have had significant experience in working on literary works, such as editing books for a previous client that was a publishing house. Though I have no personal background when it comes to being a VA, I am willing to learn should you agree to instruct me of what I should do. I can easily perform what is expected from me, so there is no need to worry about how long I would learn the ropes. But even so, I am not afraid to ask if I do not understand something. I am quite particular with the work I present, which is why I pay very close attention to even the amallest of details. Double-checking or even triple-checking my work is something that's almost second nature to me.
