I'm looking for someone who has extensive experience with Neural Networks or Genetic Algorithms research. I'm working on an indoor pathfinding research and i'm looking to apply NN's or GA's to solve a problem that i haven't completely defined yet. I need some help finding a problem that has not been addressed in previous research areas. If you can find and define a problem that has not been researched in previous academic work then the project is yours.
The research is focused on developing an indoor navigation system/algorithm for the visually impaired or for robots. As you can see the scope is pretty wide so it's up to you to narrow it down with whatever problem you define. I'm not limited to NN's or GA's, you are free to use other techniques such as Ant-based-pathfinding, swarms, Neural Fields, etc.
All i'm looking for right now is defining the problem statement along with the related work. If you are interested in continuing on the research beyond this scope then we'll arrange for further payments along the road that could total more than $1000.
Deliverables must include 5 to 10 pages which contain the following:
1. Problem statement.
2. Related work summary.
3. Technique to address the problem statement.
4. Significance of solution.
This is a research based project, so the work is more theory based. I have a tight deadline and i need help ASAP.
PS. Please research your proposed problem extensively and ensure that it has not been addressed in previous research.
