Require a look and feel design for an intranet website. The site is a management program for a large telephony system and will be used by technical and sales staff as well as customers for statistics.
Want to end up with a template that a web programmer can then build the tools into.
The website design must take into account that the pages will be diverse - from log in and configuration screens to unspecified length tables for statistics.
The navigation should be designed so that no matter what the screen is, common collections of buttons or controls are always in the same place. Some real idiots are going to be using this who are very impatient!
The programmers will need space to do their stuff so the pages should probably not be "framed" on all 4 sides to allow for varying lengths. Not sure if we should allow varying widths or not.
This web site may well be cloned and sold to customers as a white label product, so we must be able to simply change the title graphic and company specific information based on a config file.
The site is to look very business like, but easy on the eye, too. I like some of the what I believe are termed web2.0 look sites, but not too bubbly or cartoony.
It's one of those "I'll know it when I see it" situations, I'm afraid!
I think that's about it. Please ask if you have questions.
