We are a small property management company and need a program that will help us keep track of the people who call/visit and inquire about our available rentals. The purpose of the program would be to allow for easy input of our prospective tenants and to output who would be good for a particular unit. In other words, we would have all the prospective tenants in the program and when a property becomes available we can input what type of property it is and it'll show us who would be a good candidate for the property.
Tenant info input for database:
Applied (Y or N), Date, Tenant name, Phone Number, Bedrooms (range), Bathrooms (range), Price (range), Comments
Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Price
We would have 2 basic tenant types: Applied and Not applied
The applied should be filtered to the top and sorted by the date of application. The not applied next then sorted by the date they inquired.
All potential tenants older than 6 months should NOT be returned in the output, but should be stored in a database for search purposes.
I would like this done in Visual Basic. If you need any other info to make a bid, please let me know.
Also, whenever we input a property and search for tenants we need a way to add information to the tenants list so that when we contact them we can put info as to what they say..Perhaps a second comment section that we can post results of our recent contact with the potential tenant. Also, if they say they aren't interested in a rental anymore, then we need to have a way to remove them from future output.
