Extract Data from txt files and populate Excel

Take a look at the example .txt files and the example excel file. I want a small program that will extract any file name with file extensions I enter into a text box or similar form control for example I may enter file extensions such as .doc, .docx, .xls or .jpg and the next time I run the applicaiton I may enter .doc and .xls only. File names with these extensions should be extracted from the text files and placed in the excel file as per the example. The application should have a simple interface which allows me to browse to and select the folder where the txt files are held, enter the file extensions I wish to find and extract and press 'start' to run the applicaiton to extract the necessary file names and paste them into the excel spred sheet that should be saved as [login to view URL] in the same folder as the text files exist (as browsed to by the user). The application should run through all the text files in the chosen folder. I should be able to change the file extentions that can be searched and extracted for example I may wish to remove .pdf and add .txt. I need a compiled app and the source code too. Let me know what programming language you plan to use, would be ideal if written in Delphi or Visual C#, VB but not essential. Thanks for your interest.
