I have a problem uninstalling ClickOnce Desktop application created with Visual Studio 2008 targeting .net 2 framework written in Visual Basic code.
If you are familiar with ClickOnce you are aware that when the uninstallation is called via code a Maintenance dialog window appears showing two Command Buttons and the option to CANCEL the window by the Red X at the top-right of the Maintenance Dialog window.
Command Button 1 = OK
Command Button 2 = CANCEL
Option To CANCEL via Red X
I know how to initiate the uninstallation process by call Shell, and I know when the Maintenance dialog window appears.
I need to know If the client clicked the OK button, or the CANCEL button, or simply closed the window via clicking the Red X at the top-right of the Maintenance Dialog Window.
I would like you to create a ClickOnce application USING VISUAL STUDIO 2008 that shows a main form to the center of the clients screen, on this form there should be a command button that when pressed initiates the ClickOnce uninstall maintenance dialog box window showing the OK AND CANCEL OPTIONS and the red-x at the top-right of this window.
There should also be 1 text box on this main form
when the client clicks the Maintenance dialog window OK button the main form text box should say "ok button clicked"
when the client clicks the Maintenance dialog window CANCEL button the main form text box should say "cancel button clicked"
when the client clicks the Maintenance dialog window Red-X ie simply closes the maintenance dialog window the main form text box should say "maintenance dialog window closed"
I need to be able to test this program and be able to open using my visual studio 2008 and view all code, every line of code written must be well commented stating simply-exactly what its function is.
