We previously outsourced this program to another man in virginia. Unfortunately we were not able to test it as much as we wanted and didn't get all of the bugs out.
Now we have no response out of him but we still need it to work.
The program is a pump simulation that calculates different pressures and ethalpys and such throughout a hydronic simulation.
The problem we're having is when we go to input a new project into the program we're having difficulties getting it to run through the calculations. The calculatons themselves work great. It reports back exactly what we need but the input/gui part of the program doesnt work on par.
I was able to locate some of the bugs but we are running out of time and I can't devote my time to fix them. We expect these bug fixes to be under $50. A strong knowledge of vb.net will be required to fix these bugs quickly and get paid. We also expect the fixes to be done within 5 days of acceptance. Any waiver and the project will be cancelled immediately.
We need to be able to insert our own project in the gui and get the results to spit out.
As of now we can only find three bugs which follow:
1. After completing the user fitting table and clicking on the link map form the drop downs do not update. You can't create a link table which is part of the process. Its fairly easy to understand when you just start putting numbers in. It shouldn't take long to figure out how the program should work. To get an idea of how it should work, load the [url removed, login to view] file and you can see how it runs perfectly.
2. In the parameters form we cant change or remove the materials that are loaded from saved files. We need to be able to change or remove these at will. They will be connected to the link table form where the different pipes are matched with material codes.?
3. We can't save and load properly. Even if you can get it to save, the program somehow adds an extra line to the saved file and from then on wont load the file at all, calling a line format error at the end of each file. We need to be able to save and load the same project over and over again without fail.?
Quick fixes for some quick money. We will consider anyone with experience.?
