I have over 10 years professional experience in Database design and development and have developed numerous tailored database systems to meet clients exact requirements. I have looked at your requirements: All of your requirements can easily be met with development of your Access database. I see no problems in quickly being able to deliver a quality, robust, adaptable product and you may be assured that all of your requirements will be met. I would set up a login screen and Management section in the database to manage user access and permissions that will enable you to easily restrict access to areas of the database. There would also be a facility to add pictures to equipment. The best way would be for you to save the picture files in a folder and link them to the database. You would browse in the database to the selected picture(s) and this would link them to the selected piece of equipment. I have used this process many times and it is most efficient. The database will be delivered within 7 days and I will be available at any time (via Skype, email or telephone) for any tweaking or technical support that may be desired.
