One thing I will set up early: ODBC linked tables with pass-through queries for any heavy filtering. This keeps the Access front-end responsive instead of pulling entire MySQL tables over the network on every lookup. We had initial development of database for these companies. And on a ongoing basis we are making changes and/or supporting for bugs, improvements etc. We worked on over 530 Microsoft Access projects till now. It is a great tool when scaling-up and excellent reporting features. Connection of backend SQL server table to front end by using ODBC DSN or DSN less by linker module. we have already design a bas module to connect SQL server tables to front end Access tables without creating ODBC DSN.
