I need a component or function made for Visual Basic that will allow for quick parsing of Textboxes.
I need it to work like this.
[url removed, login to view] = [url removed, login to view] ([url removed, login to view], "Parse Start Point", "Parse End Point", Duplicates = True/False, Do Entire Textbox = True/False, Skip Lines = "Number")
Here's a breakdown of what I mean for this.
[url removed, login to view] is obviously the action to take.
[url removed, login to view] is the textbox I need to parse up.
Parse Start/End Point is the start of where a textbox should be parsed, and the end point is where it will stop parsing. For example, If I have a number between * keys, (Ex: *33321*), then the Start point would be "*", and the endpoint would be "*". It will then have parsed out my number, 33321.
Duplicates = True/False is a boolean value which will either allow for duplicate data, or not.
Do Entire Textbox is a boolean value that will either parse the entire textbox (True), or just parse the first thing found (False).
Skip Lines is a number that will determine the number of lines between parsed data. For instance, if I have two parsed numbers, 223 and 442, and I put the Skip Lines value to 1, it would look like:
It simply just adds a new line after the parsed data.
If you are programming a function, please do it thusly:
Parse([url removed, login to view], "Parse Start Point", "Parse End Point", Duplicates = True/False, Do Entire Textbox = True/False, Skip Lines = "Number")
Same explanation as the Component.
