Write to the eventlog via VB6
You need to create OR a CLASS OR a component OR VB6-source-code (to be used as BAS file) that will be used from VB6 and when running as SYSTEM ACCOUNT (as service that is) that is able to write to the eventlog.
What parameters are to be used
* which eventlog (application - security - setup- system - any custom eventlog (how to create one should be part of this too!)
* source (any string)
* eventID
* Level
* task category
* User (any string)
* computer (this should any string - so also the name of a different computer!)
* actual content (string - should not be limited in size - we need to be able to write at least 10000 bytes!)
If you make this via a COMPONENT, then make sure that the component does NOT need any form in order to work!
Provide the class/component/VB6-source-code, it's sources (what language will you use IF it's a component?), and an example written in VB6 that shows how to use this.

To restate we're talking about VB6 NOT about VB.NET!
