Lo que necesitás no es solo una base de datos de alumnos, sino un sistema operativo para la academia: registro y documentación del estudiante, matrículas, cursos, pagos, asistencia y control de caja, todo en una sola plataforma y con trazabilidad. Mi propuesta es desarrollar una aplicación web clara y ordenada, donde secretaría pueda registrar alumnos y documentos, gestionar prematrículas/matrículas y emitir recibos; el área académica pueda asignar cursos y consultar historial; y caja pueda controlar pagos, mensualidades, movimientos y reportes por rango de fechas. También incluiría asistencia con alertas por ausencias recurrentes, para que el sistema no sea solo administrativo sino también útil en el seguimiento diario. La parte biométrica la podemos contemplar, pero conviene tratarla de forma seria desde el inicio: depende del dispositivo exacto, su SDK y cómo expone la lectura de huella. Si ya tienen ese dato, lo integramos sobre una base técnica limpia; si no, se deja el sistema preparado para sumar esa capa sin rehacer lo principal.
