WordPress Top-Page Product Filters

I need product-filter functionality added to my existing WordPress store with the controls sitting right at the top of every shop and category page. The goal is to let shoppers narrow results instantly without leaving the current view, so the solution must be fast, responsive, and fully compatible with my current theme and any caching I’m already using. Whether you achieve this through a well-supported plugin (e.g. WooCommerce Product Filters, FacetWP) or a lightweight custom snippet is up to you, as long as the styling looks native and the filters can be managed easily from the admin area. Please include brief notes on: • the approach you recommend, • any dependencies it introduces, • and how I will be able to add or remove individual filter fields later. Once installed, I should see the new filter bar render above the product grid on both desktop and mobile, with no layout shifts or CLS issues. I will consider the task complete when the filters display in the correct position, interact smoothly with AJAX (no page reloads preferred), and pass a quick usability check on the latest Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
