We need a price quote to totally redesign and reimplement our web site.
The business is changing focus, so the old web site is pretty much irrelevant.
We have the new logo design and home page graphics/layout already done. The project is primarily implementation but there is some design work required.
New site will have about 10-15 pages total. Major sections will be for Recruiting, Consulting, Products, About and Home. Recruiting will be the most complex, the others will be quite simple. We need a highly visible Contact button on every page that leads to email being sent to us.
We need to be able to edit content without going back to the implementors, so some sort of content management system will be required.
Many of the pages will be purely informational, and thus simple.
The more complex section will be for recruiting. In phase 1 this will require that people be able to upload their resumes to a DB and check off some basic skills categories. Generic recruiter web site functionality. In phase 2 we may also list jobs and enable people to respond online to them, but this quote is only for phase 1.
We need to be able to keep track of traffic, and also click throughs to other web sites we link to.
One section will be a page with links to downloadable PDF's. The PDF files may be held at our site or a partner site.
The home page should have some appealing flash animation. Depending on cost, we may do that now or in a second phase. So we'd like quotes without flash for now, but we will be asking the finalists for flash quotes.
Site should be able to be easily optimized for SEO.
Bid here should be for site without flash and with the phase 1 features only. The winning bidder will then be the default implementor for subsequent phases. We envision the site as becoming much larger and more sophisticated over time.
We have no preferences for technologies, except that we prefer freeware in order to mitigate costs.
The site should be able to be easily hosted at any commercial hosting facility.
The first phase of this project will be making changes to an existing site that uses .NET Nuke.
So, please respond only if you have .NET Nuke skills and experience.
