Think Bugatti(dot)com meets WynnLasVegas(dot)com for “The Birth of an American Car Company™”.
Design, build, and initial promotion of website for new car company. Stylish, first-class look-and-feel, from the logo to the layout, presentation, and photos. You should expect to prepare several concepts for consideration, and then iterate successively from there.
Sections (probably just one page each to start) for the 8 Divisions (Cars, Vans, Alloys, Engines, Performance Parts, Racing, Technology, and Military), 7 main topics (History, Alloys, Weight Reduction, Innovative Vehicles, Technology Transfer, Alloy Supply, and Made in America) and a few standard pieces (About Us, Links, Blog=News, Contact form+autoresponder, Investor Relations form+autoresponder).
We will provide much of the basic text, but you will need to contribute some research and re-writing/copywriting. You should also budget for photos to supplement the concept drawings and early photos we have available.
So, in order of importance, we will be looking for:
1. Elegant, stylish, professional. Show me one great WOW example that you’ve done, not 20 websites.
2. Persuasive writing. Send me one great article or page you’ve had a hand in writing.
3. SEO. Present your plan to quickly achieve Top 10 rankings for several key phrases, including the car name, the alloy name, and others.
Please put some thought and effort into the response – “Let’s get started” and “Here’s my portfolio” won’t get much consideration. At least answer you must answer the three issues just above to be considered, and the more ideas and substance you can provide the better.
Again, this is for a complete functioning website. We’ll supply the basic words and photos and a lot of feedback along the way, but you are responsible for all the pieces and to deliver the finished product.
