Website Redesign - Creativity is a Plus

I am looking to upgrade and redesign my website in preparation for implementation of a CMS system. My goal with the redesign is to improve traffic flow of clients for my members, increase membership, and make the website cleaner to navigate.
I am looking for a designer who can take the website to a more upscale and professional level. Creativity is highly sought.
The website is very large right now and highly optimized. Hopefully the redesign will make accessing information easier (reducing pages) without impacting optimization negatively. Potential for 6 - 8 page groupings with unique elements but cohesive overall design.
Potential opportunity for additional work with a strong working relationship. Portfolio with high quality examples desired - serious candidates will receive more information for a final proposal. Must be prepared to meet/discuss on east coast hours.
