SEO is just a bit of what Digital marketing is all about. The Onsite/Offsite strategies are a part of Digital marketing and SEO is just 1 part of Onsite marketing. b) I believe what you are trying to achieve is possible with a proper structure of a plan for digital marketing and not just SEO. Infact, thats why the previous assignments of outsourcing SEO activities have failed, cause SEO on all by itself would be like banging your head against the wall and hoping the wall breaks - most times, you'd end up with a headache :) c) Suggestion: SEO + SMM + Email Marketing + Other parts of Onsite Marketing (content marketing/PPC/CPC) I am not a big fan of PPC/CPC though, cause its again a huge investment.
