Design & CSS for specialized search engine

Hello, need help to design and create the CSS for a new specialized search engine. I have the skeleton in plain HTML (basically text only with dummy or sample content), and I need somebody to define the look and feel, and rewrite the HTML and CSS accordingly. This is for a fairly vanilla search engine, so nothing very complicated. There are 8 pages to rewrite: the main search page, an advanced search page, a sample search result page, an item detail page, a user public profile page, the login popup, a short FAQ page, a simple contact us page, and a My Settings page. The winner will receive the raw HTML and a short description of the expected navigation across the site. You are not expected to build any AJAX or dynamic functionalities, only the CSS (but obviously need to understand how this will work to design it correctly… this is a search engine, so not very difficult) In you bid, please include reference to previous designs of yours. Overall Design Considerations: - Clean and simple, yet elegant and functional design. Think Google! - Has to load fast. Low usage of icons and pictures. Lines and background are fine to delimit areas, but avoid adding design elements with no functional purpose. - Follow standard web practice: links should be obvious. Important info in big font. Lot’s of white space.
