The intranet is to be used to the control / management of employees work hours / hour consumption, control / management of internal calendars, and most importantly control / management of projects and the projects finances. Also the intranet should have a “knowledge base”, “contacts”, “personnel” and a “doing business” page.
We are not looking to invest in great big complicated applications, but something that is simple, clear and well-arranged for the employees and clients to view, and at the same time eases the organizing and planning time.
There should be three different levels of users – level 1, 2 and 3, where:
Level 1 users have access to everything, and is the only group with access to the “administration” pages. The can delete, edit and set up.
Level 2 users are the employees of the company, who are not a classed level 1 user. Meaning they have control of their own diary / calendar, but they cannot delete or set-up, or edit anything else. They do not have access to the “administration” pages and they cannot see anything financial / budgets / cash flows etc.
Level 3 users are intended for clients and other potential external users. They should only have access to projects, gantt charts and processes that they are a part of, and should of course not have access to anything financial / administrative.
