The audience is particularly toward young physicians (especially radiology residents, the terms are different than the British system used all over the world) still in training with stress from lack of time, lack of sleep, depressing at times duties, easy access to addiction substances who, as a result, do not know where and when to ask for help and who to ask and what to ask for. However, the same information could be used by other health care workers by taking the same information and applying it to themselves. My goal is to provident options for health prevention, treatment, and post-treatment strategies that are based on evidence and to differentiate this from practices that are widely accepted but have no basis in research to actually work. As the site administrator I would like to remain anonymous such that my affiliation does not affect the content. I would also like for readers to comment on my posts without their names/emails or other identifiable information to be traced back. I would like to have an email address that could be easily remembered by the members so that we both could communicate without knowing each others true password. I guess this could be by forwarding or them actually emailing from that account. I would want any comments to be civil as this is a site to help themselves and comments should in include the disclaimer that all posts should be civil, think before you write especially to another member, keep on topic and respond to any topic with "I" and istead of "you" when possible.
As far as format, I am open to your suggestions and the possibility to change the outline in the future if I decide to keep this up would be a plus. I suppose two columns, maybe one on the left with topics such as "About me", "Why do I need this",, "About you", "confidentiality", "disclosures", "Evidence Based Practices", "Resources using evidence based strategies". Maybe more?
On the topic mabe a row of topics like "Behavioral Prevention", "emotional Prevention",, "early help", "Treatment when ready", "Post Treatment"
I do not want any advertising. It would be nice to have a counter (maybe one only I can see) to assess if anyone is actually referring the website and when. However, even if I can help one person that is satisfying enough, although I may never know.
There are many websites but one that is based on a much broader concept is: [login to view URL]
I don't know the name/url yet and will not give personal information to log the owner. I have used godaddy in the past and they seems cheap and reliable.
