I need a simple add-on either using outlook or using windows file-system (based on worker suggestions) that will add a button to the 'save attachment' window shown in outlook.
When clicking on the button, I want to be able to do something with the file (doing something with the file is not part of the project).
The worker is required to develop only the button and the button event click that will show a message-box with the attachment name. I'll take it from their.
The solution should be written in VS2008 C# and work for office 2000 and above (windows XP and 7).
bonus project will be provided to worker after - adding a similar functionality to windows 'send to' menu (when right-clicking on any file in the file-system).
Please only bid if you done similar projects in the pass.
a generic solution in the file-system (rather than in office) will be preferred.
Make sure your solution work both on windows XP, 7 and on office 2000 and 2003.
a preferred solution would be something formal which uses windows and office tools (i.e. adding registry keys) to add the button, and not a 'patch' that might be blocked by the OS.
Don't bother yourself on what should be done with the attachment- get to the point where a C# message-box shows the file-name and I'll take it from there.
See image for example.
