I have an application developed in NET (Visual WerbGui - a high-level framework on top of ASP.NET).
The application is not very complex, and it was used on a VPS, where it worked ok (read- fast).
I recently moved the app on a new phisical server as requested by client, but now the application works very slow.
The server is powerful enough and app should work at least as fast as before (but actually faster, since new server is much more powerful the previous VPS server).
I suspect the issues are with some IIS configuration.
The app uses Sql server express 2008R2, so the problem could come either from a deficiraty IIS configuration or from a deficitary Sql server config.
The configuration on previous VPS was similar - Win Server 2008R2 with sql server express 2008R2 x64.
You should not have to do anything to app itself or its config files since as I said exactly the same app works ok on another server. So all that has to be done is IIS and / or sql server configuration.
I need this to be done asap. It will me done over teamviewer / RDP, during my work day. When you announce your availability, you should be ready. I'll contact you and if you answer, we can start. Otherwise I'll move to next one. After you consider you fix the issue, we compare the speed with app instance installed on another server (VPS or my local copy). If speed is comparable, I'll accept the work.
My timezone is UTC+2, and I will be available today for extended hours, to answer asap to those who announce their availability.
I will choose you as you announce the availability.
