I've a requirement to test some applications for IPv6 compatibility. I need help setting up such an environment on my PC using a VM, preferably Virtualbox (latest version) if possible. Secondly, I may also need the test environment to be accessible from the Internet using IPv6 (I don't know if that is possible - please advise accordingly). Environment:- 1. Windows 7 connected using Wireless Netgear DGN2000 ADSL/Wireless router. 2. Windows 2008 Server (Virtualbox) Also, see attached screens of configuration. You may propose a solution whereby i can setup a IPv6 network between the VM Host (my PC) and the VM Guest (the Windows 2008 Server), or I can setup another Windows 2008 Server so that the 2 servers will be linked using ipv6. Note:- 1. Whatever solution you propose, you need to get it working in your own network first - you can use either windows 2008 or windows 7. If you don't have Netgear DGN2000 ADSL/Wireless router, I believe that any WLAN router that doesn't support ipv6 should behave the same? 2. My existing Internet and LAN (ipv4) must still work after the setup. :-) 3. Please prove that you have experience setting up ipv6 networks -screen captures, etc. Note: In a couple of year's time, setting up ipv6 network may well be the job requirement for every large company network administrator.
