I want a solution to allow me to secure a computer and require a secondary authentication step. This solution would consist of two programs: a) The tray application, and b) the authentication program. The tray program calls the authentication program when a triggering event occurs (when tray application first runs; when console session connects; when terminal session connects; and when computer is unlocked). When the authenication program runs, it blocks the user from being able to do anything except type in the authentication password. Specific counter-measures have to be programmed in, so user cannot get around the need to authenticate. If effort is detected to bypass the program, the authentication program may restore the system and immediately lock the system, so the user has to go through the process again. This solution will be tested in Windows XP, Vista, Server 2003, and Server 2008. It must compile in C# in Visual Studio 2005.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
This program should be written in C# and able to be compiled in Visual Studio 2005.
