Field Service IT Support Technician Level 2

3-5 years of experience in PC support


Following is a list of duties for the next 3 to 6 months regarding this role, as examples but not limited to:

- on-site support: walk-in, telephone, mail, ticketing support for End users devices that might include but not limited to WinPC laptop and Desktops, Apple MAC laptop and desktops, printers, accessories like monitors, Apple iPhone, Office Fixed Phones. Note: on-site support might include UK stores and any other client location if requested

- Lifecycle hands on tasks delivery: for WinPC/Mac laptops and desktops and Apple iPhones and iPads that includes quotes for purchase might be requested, stocks on arrival of the goods, installations that might include setup of accessories like monitors, mouse, keyboards, , asset tracking, configurations, malfunctions resolutions, repairs, disposals

- Videoconference On-site walk-in support: basic troubleshooting on videoconference malfunctions

- Concierge service for Videoconference systems and events: Concierge refers to getting videoconference meeting or event details, to test the connections, cablings if any, to setup devices for event if any, to start the videoconference on the day of the meeting and finally to be available to jump in the meeting or event for setup of troubleshooting resolution in case of malfunctions. Note: events might be also external to the headquarters if requested

- Ticket queue management: to make sure to not have tickets unassigned or breached or latency in resolution, to escalate to the Service Desk manager for any issue that is stuck for any reason and could not be processed

- System Administration: basic tasks hands-on Microsoft AD and Microsoft Exchange: user setup, mailboxes setup

- Other tasks: it might be required to manage/hands-on various system that are currently in use at client site: as example but not limited to the creation of the rights to print on the badges using the proper system, to support other DXC teams for installation or resolution of malfunctions, Lift / move computer equipment weighing up to 50Lbs

- Basic management tasks: some activities as example but not limited to keeping lists of assets or SIM card subscriptions, basic warranty checks of end user devices
