I have an HP 8460p (laptop) on a docking station. Through the docking station, I have it hooked up to 2 monitors. I added a third monitor using a USB to VGA adapter, that supports 1080p. Right now the monitor that is attached through the adapter, is only displaying 800 x 600 resolution. According to the manufacturer, that is the maximum resolution if the adapter is not connected to a USB 3.0. However, all of the USB ports on the docking station are 3.0. I have installed all updates from HP, from the video adapter manufacturer and from Windows update. The computer is running Windows 7 64 professional. I need my third monitor at full resolution.
