Hi, I would be very happy to take on this project as this is one thing I really know how to do. I've worked for 3 years in a Publishing House doing exactly this: - typing books/courses/manuals from handwritten notes and manuscripts - formatting them in different size pages. We used A4 but I worked with custom pages as well; - formatting the text of the body, the Headers, Footers, page numbers; - grouping chapters in sections with each new chapter page starting on the odd pages (basically the right hand side) and also making sure each header changed with the beginning of a new chapter. - took care of bookmarks, indices and TOCs and made sure they have the proper formatting as well. - worked with various styles, applying and customizing them to fit the entire book. - at the end of each project we were going page by page checking and double-checking for mistakes even in the spelling, punctuation and spacing. Due to all the years I've been doing this I can work very fast and very accurate. I can provide intermediary results and if needed I would be happy to provide a sample of what I can do if you send me a few pages or a whole chapter of the book. The best part about it is that I do it with passion because I love doing this job. I couldn't explain why but it is something that really appeals to me.
