WordPress top skills. We will test your skills! Advantage will be skills on other platforms like Magento, Shopify etc. but it's not a must. WordPress is the must!!! You must know all about it and love it. Most of our core team hate WP and some have done it when they were juniors but everybody prefers to move to NodeJS/Laravel in the back and React/Vue in the front when they get more experienced. We look for somebody who loves WP and want to stay with it! We want you full-time! Or at least part-time!
Able to deliver pixel-perfect solutions. We don't need a person that we need to point out dozens of differences in designers' provided prototype and your results. So you need to be rather FE with some BE knowledge not BE with some FE knowledge.
Experience with PHP. It will be an advantage if you know Laravel too but not required. WP is built on PHP so you must know it. We don't look for script kiddies:) Have you done custom plugins for WP?
Experience in working for different companies/teams before.
Good spoken and written English (MUST!). We'll need to have a quick 5min call to verify your spoken English!
Good understanding of business needs and ability to think a smart, fast and easy solution for those needs.
Friendly and motivated to learn.
DISCLAIMER: Eastern-Europe ONLY! Do not apply if you're not from EASTERN-EUROPE!!!
About the first project
Need to create a new page for the WordPress website from XD. Design of the new responsive page will be provided in Adobe XD.
Basically external mobile app users can buy bonus money into their account. From the mobile app, people click "Buy bonus money" and will be directed to WordPress with client name, client email and client ID number. You will discuss with mobile app dev how you want that data (POST, GET, you suggest).
Payment will be done via MK payment gateway: [login to view URL]
After successful payment send to external ERP client ID and bonus money amount bought. Send XML or JSON format. Will clarify.
After either successful or unsuccessful payment save in WP or in some MySQL table client ID, email, bought amount, date/time of the transaction, successful or unsuccessful. Also, transaction ID and reason of unsuccessful payment (if payment gateway provides something like that). The same information should be sent to email, too.
