We have an existing python script. It's a simple screen scraping script. It logs on to a website with a username and password, and chooses a date range and performs a query. The remote site returns data and then a link to a csv file containing the relevant data (the csv file is created on the fly by the date range). The system has worked fine in the past, but the website has undergone changes to the interface and the data is not being retrieved. I suspect it's because the screen scraping script is not looking at the right html coder, etc. So all you need to do is fine the part of the code that is failing and correct it so the information is retrieved. It's unlikely you will need to do anything else to the script since it's calculations, and file creation for output (parsing the csv) will not need changing. all you need to do is look at the html for the page now and fix the python script so it correctly "requests" the right data and "retrieves" the data containing the link to the csv file. Someone with a sound knowledge of python (mainly text only processing) will be fine with this. This is a small amount of GUI code but all that does is requests the data range to be retrieved by the script. Looking for someone to quickly complete this today. We will pay a bonus if you finish this within 1 day.
