I created a 5 page brochure style site in html and css.
I never learned HTML so I basically learned by using css
in conjunction with HTML and hacked my way through it.
The site will center and display correctly in IE7. However, you get a
poor display in FF and it practically made the W3C validator
At the end of the day the site looks alright in IE7 and loads
fairly slow. My goal is to have the site load faster (even if
that means dumping some of my backgrounds and I want it to display
properly in all browsers.
1) Get site to load faster by reducing graphics and/or slicing them.
2) clean up html and css so it validates in W3c and more importantly
displays properly in all browsers.
3) Create a more viewable, faster loading experience in the photo
4) Create a form for contact info. I am using an href to my email
address and it looks pretty bush league. I put everything in
Outlook so I don't need a database. If the form can export directly into Outlook great, if not, I just want a printable form that will go
to my email address.
The last time I posted a site on one these boards I got spammed really bad. I will place the URL into a PMB for all bidders
